He's cogent and wise and fair and nice and a very good writer. But that only applies to the times when he isn't rambling for 7,000 words and 23 asterisks about the Royals, childrens' movies, and his early journalism experiences in massive, barely coherent, perhaps even slightly drunken blog posts.
